STF’s FCY Y-pattern strainer is specifically designed for applications where large solid particles could threaten sensitive equipment. Unlike standard mesh filters, the FCY uses a perforated stainless steel plate with 4 mm (4000 µm) holes, ideal for early-stage protection in fluid systems.
The filter element is cleaned manually, though it can be adapted for automated operation. With a large filtering surface and low head loss, the FCY supports high flow rates while maintaining efficient performance.
Built from carbon steel with surface blasting and an epoxy-polyester coating, the filter offers high resistance to corrosion and harsh conditions. Available in sizes from DN-50 to DN-800, it withstands pressures up to 10 bar and fluid temperatures up to 50 °C.
